B.s I was there when little ol Gavin newsom snatched all teams I I g fracking permits in ca most drilling isn’t on federal lane any way and depends what class of drilling your doing but all drilling has to be federally permitted when they want to pull permits they say corners were cut we are conducting investigations into how the permits were gained google isn’t the answer to everything google how many people lose there jobs on the keystone pipeline and it will still be short on the numbers because it don’t bring in all the third party personnel it t employs to get the pipeline built back to be dependent on Middle East and unemployment
Under republican office oil and gas will still be drilling regardless of price oil and gas drilling permits are always given not taken !!! Under Democrats well you read your presidents sweeping executive orders you do the math !! I’m not into better unemployment !! I don’t want to be unemployed!!!
The issue is drilling on Federal Land. New Permits.
Besides, Biden’s ban on new oil and gas drilling on federal lands would take years to shut off production from top shale drillers because they already have stockpiled permits.

Federal lands are the source of about 10% of U.S. oil and gas supply. There is still plenty of gas and oil on private lands.
Electric APUs have started gaining acceptance. These electric APUs use battery packs instead of the diesel engine on traditional APUs as a source of power. The APU's battery pack is charged when the truck is in motion. When the truck is idle, the stored energy in the battery pack is then used to power an air conditioner, heater, and other devices
My old company is out of Canada worked 15 yrs for that company I’m over political discussions we all got our views be safe out there

Again the issue is drilling on Federal Land, not private land. New drilling on private land will continue as always.
The oil from Canada will still be imported into the US with or without the Keystone pipeline. It will be brought in by rail and trucks.
In fact, it can be considered that there will be more truck driving jobs to haul the oil from Canada since the pipeline won't be built.
1. I doubt trucks will haul anywhere near the amount of fuel (in the same time and as safely) that pipeline would bring. 2. It does seem the jobs associated with building and maintaining the pipeline will go away. 3. The guy signing all these things is the same guy that was in charge of all those road/bridge projects ten years ago. 😳 4. I don’t care which political party it is, I don’t trust anyone who has been part of the federal government for 40+ years AND HAS NO successful accomplishments.

1. The oil is already being trucked in to the US as well as on trains. It will get here one way or another.
2. The pipeline would take away the current truck driving jobs along with the support jobs in both the trucks/trains.
3. ??
4. We salute the rank, not the man. It's a band of brothers thing.
“ We salute the rank, not the man. It's a band of brothers thing.”
I’m not looking to argue politics on here, but I’ve lived (and served) long enough to recognize when a man can tear a unit apart while hiding behind “the rank.”
Believe what you want, but I thank God a bunch of Patriots, over 240 years ago, saw the kind of man behind the rank.
The plummeting of oil and gas prices worldwide in 2020 had nothing to do with a Republican administration in the United States, just as it had nothing to do with the administration in any other nation.
It was the nearly overnight worldwide drop in demand due to the coronavirus pandemic. At one point in Spring of 2020 the price per barrel of crude was actually negative (wrap your head around that).
People love to ascribe whatever good things are happening to the administration in office, so long as they support that administration. And they love to ascribe whatever bad things are happening to the administration in office, so long as they oppose that administration. Confirmation bias: it’s a human nature thing.
Weeell, you're forgetting a little thing that under Trump America became a net EXPORTER of energy. Kinda hard for the OPEC cartel to force a raise in prices when AMERICA doesn't play along

Ironically, it will increase the carbon footprint to bring the oil into the US via other means than pipe to such an extent it cancels out killing Keystone.

But will in fact save jobs in the trucking industry.
Biden didn't stop the pipeline for enviromental reasons, he did it to help his pals in the railroad industry.
Piplines are like driverless trucks. They ultimately take away jobs.

This, exactly this. The US only imports roughly 4% from the Middle East although there’s a bunch of money invested there. Most of our imported oil comes from Canada and that tap isn’t going to be shutting off soon. The idea that any President controls oil prices is ridiculous because there are much bigger fish controlling that industry.
