Good luck your living the dream now. I remember going to school I was so excited I was so early I had to wait at the gate for the instructors to get there.

Luckily you have a few short weeks because you have a LOT of work to do. Get going on our High Road Training Program so you're armed and ready when it's time to start school and get out there on the highway.
Looking forward to following along with ya once school starts!
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

I am very happy to let everyone know that after more than a year of trying to make this happen I am finally enrolled in school. I have choosen a local private school in southern Maine. I will be sure to start a training journal and share how its going. Instead of just lurking around here. In a few short weeks I will be out there on the roads! Watch out!
