I'm about to start my hotshot business. The only thing holding me back is trailer parking. I'm trying to find somewhere to park a 40ft flatbed in DFW & nearby surrounding areas. No truck stops needed.
Any suggestions from anybody will help, Thanks
Haya, Dallas....gave up on the OTR life w/the wife, didya ?!?
Here in Ohio, MANY of the 'self storage' places, with the garages, lockers, etc. have 'extra' real estate on their property for this exact reason. They rent the 'land' to people with RV's, boats, jet skis, and trailers of any and all kinds. You should certainly look into something similar in your area. It may be more in the 'rural' areas, than the suburbs, but worth checking out.
Best of luck!

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
Hit up 1 of the mom pop truck stops around there I see trailers dropped all the time by o/o

I've never used them, but I did use a service like this in Atlanta one time when I was almost out of hours. Theres little spaces like this all over the country, especially in highly populated areas.
