This is NOT a thread for opinions on the vaccines, or their efficacy or safety, or the politics of their distribution. Please take that elsewhere. This is strictly for the logistics of finding out if I am eligible and what the next steps would be to proceed. Please respect my request; I’m looking for information and not a cesspool of unfounded opinion.

Hello all -
I am trying to find information on my eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine as a truck driver. A preliminary search suggests that we are eligible during “phase 1b,” but I can’t find a clearinghouse of information on what that means, when it starts, and how to register.
Is this system state-by-state? Should I contact my employee? As OTR drivers, would my eligibility be determined by my home address?
Anyone have any solid, verifiable information? Thanks so much!
For the veterans out there, try the VA as they are giving it out too.

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
