Thank you. I went to the West Chicago facility and got everything straightened out.
One thing I learned: Make sure the provider includes their Registration Number as well as their National Registry Number. The ILSOS won't accept an MEC without both. The provider forgot to include their Registration Number and I had to go all the way back to the clinic to have them add it.
Also, FYI, the West Chicago facility is closing for good after this Friday. The landlord wants to use the property for other purposes so the building is going to be demolished and the land is going to be repurposed. They are looking for somewhere to open a new facility in the same general area but that won't be for awhile yet.
Electric APUs have started gaining acceptance. These electric APUs use battery packs instead of the diesel engine on traditional APUs as a source of power. The APU's battery pack is charged when the truck is in motion. When the truck is idle, the stored energy in the battery pack is then used to power an air conditioner, heater, and other devices

Steven, not sure where in ILL-noize you are at, but if you're suburban Chiraq, the Plano facility takes care of all CDL related tasks (except driving test) and the people are pretty efficient at their tasks. The West Chicago facility is closer, but I drive to Plano to take care of my CDL stuff.
