I tend to avoid terminals like the plague, I'm currently sitting in a motel room after getting covid19 at a terminal getting a PM done. I can't stress the "like a plague" part enough.

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Oh man, I am sorry to hear that Mikey!

If you can, keep us posted on how you are doing. Is the company paying for your hotel accommodations? I got really sick on the road about six months ago and Knight paid for a hotel stay until I could get recovered. I may have had Covid, but never could get it verified.

I'm with you on avoiding terminals. I have never enjoyed hanging out at a terminal. I stay to myself most of the time, but I almost always find myself getting into some asinine discussion with a nut at a terminal , or causing some issue that I never intended. Here's A Good Example Of My Terminal Experiences.

I know this delay is going to hurt your pay. That's trucking. We only get paid when we are getting it done. Seriously though, stay in touch. We want to know how you come out of this.

I actually enjoy hanging out at the terminals and starting rumors.

I too don't mind spending time at terminals it is a good way to find out goings on company wide.

Plus like packrat it can be fun to start a rumor and see how far it gets. So far i can't get people to believe we are all going to be replaces by Telsa self driving trucks this year, but I'll keep tryin.

Feeling any better, Mikey?

Did you get home?

Auggie just started a thread; his family has it too. So does Dean.

I sure had a helluva cold that lasted 10 plus days a little bit back, but tested negative myself. It still sucked.

Hope all y'all feel better soon!

I dont think its just the terminals as terrible as your company's terminal are. People think we don't come in contact with people much but we all know thats not true and lets be honest a lot of truckers arent the most sanitary. From drivers who don't know how to properly sit on a toilet seat, or washing there feet in the freaking sink. Lets not forget the ones who believe covid 19 is fake.

Well then, let's give a shout to those who believe everything they hear on TV, can't think critically, and can't put together the obvious clues that are right in front of their face.

When you see censorship and only one opinion is allowed, you should know there's an agenda at play. If you don't know this, you don't know history.

Censorship?

Florida?

Sweden?

87% of the deaths were in Democratic states?

PCR tests never meant for mass-testing?

A "necessary" vaccine for a disease that only affects 4 out of 10,000 people?

Vaccine passports?

Churches and schools and small businesses closed, but major corporations and liquor stores remain open?

Welfare for the masses?

Cuomo's lies?

Think.

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Lets not forget the ones who believe covid 19 is fake.

Covid-19 is not fake, it is as real as thousands of other viruses. The whole pandemic story with lock downs and stupid masks is fake though.
