Packrat if you truly wish to know, a couple of weeks ago a member posted a savage and vitriolic screed condemning an entire community of whom one of my family is a member, and who barely survived a violent assault because they were targeted for being a member of this community.
This opinion had absolutely nothing to do with trucking whatsoever, and not only did the post and thread stand and continue without removal, but it became clear that the sentiment seems not only shared by the majority on the thread but even some of the moderators. This forum claims to be the most friendly and helpful trucking site on the Internet, and this example belies that claim.
Did I take it personally? Yes. You may ask what that has to do with this thread here, and my take is that if this forum allows vile opinions like that to stand without redaction, then I can certainly lampoon a bunch of morons for an unfounded and unqualified opinion.
To be honest the only reason I haven’t deleted my account is because I have had several prospective drivers reach out to me personally that my training diary has helped me immensely, so I owe it to those who come after me to receive the same level of help I received.
A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).
It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.
Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.

The best advice I can give you is to stay out of the opinionized topics. I'm only posting here to second your thoughts. I did post an unpopular opinion (that I still stand behind) at the beginning of the COVID days. My post was called BS, so I quit TT for six months or so.
I come here for trucking advice, but any time I read a single opinion on any other topic, I wonder why I bother.
As much as I'd sometimes like to contribute my "outside" opinion, I now take a pass. I'm still interested in getting the real trucking truth out here for the new & rookie drivers, though.

I dunno, my BS in nutrition, MS in biochemistry, and post-baccalaureate premed coursework lead me to disagree with a lot of the hot takes here, but what do I know?
Due to the pandemic I’m just a truck driver like the rest of you now.
Meanwhile, I’m taking my 10% bodyfat and 455 deadlift PR down to get vaccinated at Prime on Tuesday.
Sure sucks to be such an unhealthy obese slave to the pharmaceutical industry! I’ll make sure to come back here for diet tips too. Gotta go, need to go “do my research” on YouTube !
Why the snarky response?
Wondered the SAME !!!
Kinda took offense to the " Due to the pandemic I’m just a truck driver like the rest of you now. " MYSELF!
Daniel B. and his 5% bodyweight, is FAR from obese, y'all ~!!!!
Carry on, peeps !

ps: Tuesday is full at Sprimo; have to wait until Thursday. . .

Your training diary helped me formulate decisions and led me to pursue the path that Im on. I think you have the power to help many people here. Its understandable how you feel about your family member. I have a brother that was severely injured and nearly killed by a presumably drunk hit and run driver. I could certainly and did hold a very high degree of animosity towards anyone who even slightly condoned any sort of behavior resembling that. While certainly different that your situation, the point is, that you strike me as an intelligent guy, compassionate and dedicated. All qualities that get passed along when we pass on information to new folks. Anyway, hopefully you put some time and thought into sticking around here and continuing to help. I enjoy reading your comments and adventures.

Greetings Mr.Eugene!
My comment wasn't directed at you personally. Judging by your profile picture you clearly don't fit my description of this society that I speak towards.
Also, since you kind of gave your background story I will give mine too so that maybe you can see where I'm coming from.
Though I rarely post, I'm the local Russian guy here. My parents fled communist USSR Soviet Union and the KGB. Obviously I don't want to reveal too much publicly because I don't think my father would appreciate it. But he became a Christian as a young man while drafted to the army. Christianity was against the law and when he was discovered he was beaten to near death and hunted afterwards. He fled persecution and long story short here we are.
Now you have to realize we Russians see this entire situation through a different lens than you Americans. There are a lot of similarities between what happened back then to what is happening now. A lot of steps that were taken in correct sequence back then for government to achieve total control and it may seem we might be at the beginning stages of the same correct sequence done many years happening now. I hope I'm wrong, I pray I'm wrong. The common denomination is mankind and his sinful quest for power. The denomination hasn't changed, nor has mankinds heart.
My stance comes from the fear of government being able to tell people what to do, how to live, being able to close down church and assume the power to lord over overones business. And the scariest thing? People happily listen, obey, and change their entire lives for an entity that cares not for them. Listen, my country got absolutely F'd, let's not let that happen to the greatest country in the world. I agree, It's not fair to even compare USSR to todays USA. But USSR didn't become USSR overnight. Once government knows they can control you, you're in big trouble.
I agree with you Scott....the china virus has less than 1% chance of fatality and the shot has well over 65%. Plus it is essentially untested and no one knows the long term side effects. Another funny thing is the fact they had a patent on it several months before the Plandemic. What I am telling you are all facts...if you do not believe me, then do yourself a favor and do your own research. Not to mention there are oral medicines that you can take that wipe it out almost immediately, so why risk a shot dealing with your genetic composition or better yet why even create one to change your God given body, or better than that why create the china virus in the first place if you do not have Evil intentions. It amazes me that anyone in our society could trust an unnatural shot that does not even prevent you from getting the virus again or same ones are telling you that tying a petri dish on your face, or two, that is in my opinion what a mask essentially is one big germ, Co2, and bacteria collector. They also expect you to believe that key readers are immune to it, as well as 6' being the magic barrier in feet? Ever wondered why? Maybe because the same ones like a bunch of 666's everywhere, lets just say in fairly land that 6' actually does play a role in prevention, the why not chose 7' and stay away from the mark of the beast to honor our Creator and keep us and our children from participating in such? Just my thoughts on the whole subject.
And if you think I am just making stuff up feel free to read this article straight from the GOV. CDC WEBSITE. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE LUCIFEREASE. I will let you further investigate to find the rest of the article on the fda website, but the test plainly says that they are using luciferease to open your DNA , which releases Light and allow Luciferin another compound they are using... Now just stop and think about who is the Light of the world? Jesus
Why name a compound luciferease or luciferin and take about releasing Light to let Lucifer in? You can trust these people if you want, but I am not trusting my God created and God given body to the likes of such.
No, I will give you a couple links first one from the CDC Gov. Website so you can read it for yourself, before you start running your mouth to me that what I am saying is untrue?
https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/nioshtic-2/20041171.html
Second one from the FDA's website
I still can't get over the entering comment about how essentially tying a petri dish on your face that facilitates the collection of the china virus, numerous other germs and bacteria as creating a firm belief of protection?
Sorry missed pasting the second link....here it is if you are interested
https://www.fda.gov/vaccines-blood-biologics/science-research-biologics/luciferase-immunoprecipitation-system-lips-assay-rapid-simple-and-sensitive-test-detect-antibody
And my links aren't from youtube they are straight from the horses mouth
Morning folks! My apologies for my heavy dose of unnecessary of snarkiness last night. It didn’t help that I’d been awake for 36 hours after wrapping up my 30,000 miles of team training. I need to remember to sleep before going online!
Will keep my ancillary opinions to myself. I STILL wish everyone else would do the same, but hey, this is the Internet.... 🤷♂️

Nothing personal, but my patience is growing a bit thin with the community here.
I come here for trucking advice, but any time I read a single opinion on any other topic, I wonder why I bother.
Unfortunately I can never tell where any given thread will stray. Anyways, my training diary is almost done and I’ve gotten what I needed. I hope my experience helps many more to come just like I have.
