It's been a long time. I'm leaving the 15th for CFI. Everything is set. The High Road Training was excellent. I have permit and physical. Thank you Brett and all the experienced drivers for the articles.
Isn’t one of their finishers on here...lol. A guy named Big Scott..aka...CFIs biggest fan.
Good luck in your new step. I got my CDL A in 2014 and the only regret is not doing it sooner.
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Congratulations! Welcome to the family. I'm out with a student right now. I think I'll be back in Joplin on April 15th for him to upgrade.
