I'll volunteer. Going to be testing for real in a couple weeks anyway so it can't hurt!:)
I will volunteer for the iPhone version whenever you are ready! Thanks Brett!
G MAN
Thanks G Man. I'm gonna get this Android version ironed out and in the App Store and then I'll hammer out the iPhone/iPad version. It won't be long. Hopefully a week or so.
I'll help out. I have an android.
Ok it's on the way...
Still looking for several more testers
Iam ready to give it a try. Thanks Brett.
Worked great! Nice and easy, user friendly and much easier to use on my phone than going to the regular sight! Well done once again!
It's on the way Roy.
Thanks Brett N. - glad to hear it!!!
I will test it out Brett
New! Check out our help videos for a better understanding of our forum features
Hey everyone!
So I took the questions from our High Road Training Program that pertain to getting your CDL permit and endorsements, namely all of the questions except the "logbook" and "weight & balance" sections, and built an Android app for people to practice with.
The app is very simple and straight forward. It has 565 practice questions, it scores your answers in real time, and it includes the "Quote From The CDL Manual" and "Advice from TruckingTruth" after each question which you're familiar with if you took our High Road Training Program.
This app will be released soon on the Google Play store for $2.99 but right now I'm just looking for a few people to test it out and give me a little feedback.
An iPhone and iPad version will be released within a week or two.
So anyone with an Android device of any sort, phone or tablet, that's interested in testing it out and giving me a little feedback, just reply to this message and I'll send you a private message with a link to download the app for free.
Now I'll say this - the app is very simple and it was kept that way on purpose. I didn't want a pile of complex features and a dozen menus and all that garbage. I wanted a quick and simple way for people to get some studying time in when they're on the go but have a few moments to spare.
You pick a category and it gives you a group of 5 randomly selected questions from that category. It shuffles the questions and the 4 multiple choice answers each time so there's no way to memorize the order of anything. And that's about it.
So if you'd like to give it a try you can have it for free. I'll probably be happy with somewhere around 10 people or so testing it out so don't hesitate if you're interested - let me know!
Thanks!
