I have Rand McNally 520 does all that and more. Not perfect though, I would always double check your route.
Yeah, the Rand McNally units are really the best ones out there for truck drivers. But remember it is not infallible, it is just another tool in your arsenal to help you survive.
I bought a Rand MCNally 720 recently. Now let me say as far as trucker features goes its great but I find the directions suck Im sorry but my car gps garmin nuvi and the assistance of my atlas navigated better than this thing does. Overall any gps takes common sense with use.
RedGator you must have a defective unit or something. No way the 720 is giving you bad directions! Did you plug it into your computer and see if there are updates? Maybe it has old software.

This would have been so useful about 2 months ago. I wanted a garmin but the truck stop only had Rand mcnally and cobra.
But for example yesterday I left Allentown to Maine. Some of the direvtions went as follow: 84E to 691 to 91S to 84 to 90E do we not see a problem here?

You guys have any recommendations for a good Truck GPS, one that lets me type in my height, width, weight, of my truck so i can avoid low bridges and roads that have weight restrictions. I live in Chicago, and they constantly repave roads and such so underpasses are constantly changing heights and stuff like that.
