Hi everyone, some of you know me. Others will have no idea who I am.i have been a member of TT for 6 years.i will not go into all my background. Some may remember I have a valid Class A CDL but, ZERO experience. Also I graduated from truck driving school quite a few years ago. Ok, I have just started applying to company sponsored training. So, I would be going through school again. I may not post very much but, I am an avid reader of TT, just not much of a poster. I have learned a lot on TT, thanks to Brett,Big Scott, Pack Rat, G Town, Errol V among many others. I will be 62 the 25th of this month. Staying put so I can retire from the company I work for now. A little apprehensive and nervous about this move. But, I'm sure that's normal. Thanks for listening. I'm not much of a writer lol

  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

I remember you, indeed!!

I was a 'lurker' for many years...and finally got 'hooked back into the mic' when Brett 'reset' my login info....probably a year or so shorto on my profile, too!

Wow, that's huge & awesome news; you know you've come back to the 'sweet spot' of the trucking truthing world!!!

I'll be following, and ... if you look at my profile & my posts, I'm kinda the 'cheerleader' around these parts, w/a 20 year driver as a hubby. I'm still hoping to get MY chance, when the youngest kiddo ages out, in January!

Great to see you back in the saddle; and/or on your way...anyway!!!

I can recommend companies with that 'blue' truck...btw!!! LoL.. j/k!

Best wishes,

~ Anne ~

Hey Tarheel - I was on here for over 5 years before starting CDL school. I'm 63 years old and in my second week at Knight. Glad to see someone my age on here!

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
