So you go in knowing you have bad vision before hand then acted surprised that you fail? I don't get that. That's like smoking weed before taking a drug test.
I understand you being upset over not passing the vision test even those you knew about your bad vision before hand but to make a racist comment like you did is uncalled for. If your upset over something this minor and take it out on everyone BUT the person whose fault it is in the first place ,that would be you, then you don't have the maturity or the right attitude to drive a truck.
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
Pre-hire letters are acceptance letters from trucking companies to students, or even potential students, to verify placement. The trucking companies are saying in writing that the student, or potential student, appears to meet the company's minimum hiring requirements and is welcome to attend their orientation at the company’s expense once he or she graduates from truck driving school and has their CDL in hand.

The people that receive a pre-hire letter are people who meet the company's minimum hiring requirements, but it is not an employment contract. It is an invitation to orientation, and the orientation itself is a prerequisite to employment.
During the orientation you will get a physical, drug screen, and background check done. These and other qualifications must be met before someone in orientation is officially hired.

Operating While Intoxicated
I couldn't agree more than with what guyjax said. Comments such as those are completely uncalled for and totally unprofessional!
Next time consider who is at fault before you begin typing all manner of negativity!!
I'm guessing these vision problems are something that can't be easily corrected?
I agree GuyJax....
You know your vision is bad and yet you get mad and make racial comments because YOU did not go to the eye doctor and get some glasses. It is not the doctor or anybody else's fault you can't see. So, you think they should just bend the rules for you? Why not just skip all the test and just hand you a CDL then?
