Haha, I seriously doubt it. They know truckers for the most part are not the kind that like being told what to do. They already have a hard time keeping drivers, they'd lose half their fleet if they made it mandatory.
Mine made arrangements for drivers who voluntarily wanted to get it. They arranged to have a nurse at the terminal on certain dates but I don’t think anyone really took advantage of it. If you plan on delivering into Canada you’ll be required to have it but otherwise it’s still voluntary. If they tried to make it mandatory, I’ll go somewhere else.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

Required by who? We’re across daily and Canada isn’t requiring the vaccine for truck drivers yet.
Folks, I've known several people who didn't want it but got it because they were pressured into it by the media, friends, family, and rumors. Do not let anyone pressure you into it.
If trucking companies required it, they would have a fleet of empty trucks in their terminal within a week.
If you've held out this long, just hang on a little longer. Do not let anyone pressure you into it.

I think they’re are definitely some companies out there considering it. Especially among the ltl world. That will be very interesting. Drivers that have been there 10 years or more making a 100k. What will they do? I’ve also been curious on what Walmart drivers have heard.
Refers to carriers that make a lot of smaller pickups and deliveries for multiple customers as opposed to hauling one big load of freight for one customer. This type of hauling is normally done by companies with terminals scattered throughout the country where freight is sorted before being moved on to its destination.
LTL carriers include:
Not every company is the same. Big corporate sharks like Swift can do whatever they want, but there are tons of small companies with under ten trucks who are very unlikely to bend.

I have a good friend who does oversized into Canada a few times a month and about 6 months ago he was turned back because he couldn’t show proof of vaccination. I don’t know if that’s still the case but he went and got the J&J since it was just the one shot.
It's hard to say. Things are changing pretty quickly. I was in a waiting room not too long ago and the news was on warning people of potential terror threats. Number 1 was opposing COVID measures and number 2 was claiming Trump was still president. Those are the biggest that's to our country.
I know companies are offering incentives for getting the vaccine. Saia and FedEx are offering PTO and OD is offering a 500 dollar bonus. There's also the threat of increasing health insurance premiums looming.
I've heard Tyson has made it mandatory for everybody entering the building to be vaccinated.
The crazy part is that the vaccine doesn't even work. At Obama's big birthday party, 60 people (that we know of) got COVID and 30 were fully vaccinated. You can still get and spread COVID with the vaccine. It's also useless against the new and improved Delta and Lambda variants and the survival rate is still above 98%. This is now science.

Note so fast, Mr Banks. Here's an article from yesterday's (Aug 13) Boston Herald:
The coronavirus is surging on Martha’s Vineyard like the heat — but it’s too early to tell if former President Barack Obama’s birthday bash last weekend is a driver.
“It’s too early to tell,” said Janet Hathaway, assistant to the health board.
Wait a bit before you say Obama's party was a Covid hotspot.
