I prefer the tumult of liberty to the quiet of servitude
Or
I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery
Hardly a mic drop. It's as weak as the rest of your responses, but it's what I expect from someone that says asking questions is dangerous.
(picks up mic againl
what I expect from someone that says asking questions is dangerous.
So you didn't read the part where I said doubt (translation: asking questions) is a good thing? Have you figured out that critical thinking is using doubt as a tool to find truth?
(Lays expensive mic carefully on a chair.)
Wow!
My company has not required vaccines. They have recommended everyone take the virus seriously and make informed decisions, based on their specific circumstances.
This thread reinforces my concern that we (as a society) don’t know who (i.e. the so-called experts) to trust AND that we (individuals) tend to believe what we want to believe.
I BELIEVE this site is filled with truth and excellent information on trucking. Thanks for keeping the disagreements civilized. 😎
Errol, you're mixing up two completely different concepts.....telling lies and slandering versus the right to free speech.
Freedom of speech means you have the right to express your opinions, ideas, and feelings openly and honestly, without fear of retribution.
Yelling "fire" in a theater or telling someone to chew glass is not the free expression of an opinion. It's lying. You are purposely causing harm. For instance, you can not knowingly tell a lie about someone to damage their reputation. That's slander.
Now you said, "generally science agrees that masks stop a virus."
Quite simply, that's b*ll****. If masks can stop a virus, then why can't underwear stop a fart? Why do hazmat cleanup suits consist of 100% air tight suits with special air purification systems if all we need is a 50 cent mask? The air and water molecules pass right through it and around it. Really, how simple-minded must you be to not see this?
There is a long list of doctors, including Nobel-prize-winning doctors, who say otherwise but they have been censored and attacked for their views.
Ever hear of the Great Barrington Declaration? It's a document signed by 14,879 medical & public health scientists and 43,804 medical practitioners from all over the world. It states:
Indeed, for children, COVID-19 is less dangerous than many other harms, including influenza. Those who are not vulnerable should immediately be allowed to resume life as normal. Simple hygiene measures, such as hand washing and staying home when sick should be practiced by everyone to reduce the herd immunity threshold. Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, should be resumed. Young low-risk adults should work normally, rather than from home. Restaurants and other businesses should open. Arts, music, sport and other cultural activities should resume. People who are more at risk may participate if they wish, while society as a whole enjoys the protection conferred upon the vulnerable by those who have built up herd immunity.
They do not believe in masks, social distancing, or lockdowns at all. As stated, they believe COVID is less dangerous than the flu to children and the overwhelming percentage of the population.
Professors from Harvard University, Oxford University, and Stanford University created this paper. Is that "expert enough" for you, Errol? Can you show me a collection of tens of thousands of doctors who have put their name to paper stating that masks and social distancing do in fact work? No, you can't. You can find an organization like the CDC or the WHO that might do that, but all that takes is a few corrupted officials. They don't need tens of thousands of people to approve what they say. They only need a few at the top, which makes them an easy target for corruption.
That's only one example of the massive number of medical professionals who do not believe at all in what we're doing. And yet, Errol, you dismissed this entirely when you say "most" medical people agree about masks. Did you forget already that at the beginning of this plandemic even your beloved Dr Fraudci stated unequivocally that masks will do nothing to stop the spread of a virus and literally laughed at the idea? Do I need to pull that video up for you?
Fraudci also said:
“A lot of what you’re seeing as attacks on me quite frankly are attacks on science because all of the things I have spoken about from the very beginning have been fundamentally based on science.”
Ok, if that's the case, then why does his "science" keep changing? Here are a few things Fraudci has said in the past year:
- Masks do not contain the spread of a virus. No one should be wearing a mask
- Masks do contain the spread of a virus. People should wear a mask.
- Two masks work better than one. People should consider wearing two masks.
- Two masks are not necessary. One mask is fine.
- If you're vaccinanted, you won't need to wear a mask.
- If you're vaccinanted, you will need to wear a mask.
- If you're vaccinated you can not spread the virus.
- If you're vaccinated you can spread the virus
- If you're vaccinanted, you won't need to social distance.
- If you're vaccinated, you will need to social distance.
- If you're vaccinated you are protected from the virus
- If you're vaccinated you may not be protected from the virus
- We must protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated (But doesn't that mean the vaccine doesn't work?)
Errol, you are unequivocally on the side of the people who are:
The number one tactic of authoritarian regimes is to create a crisis and then convince people to suspend their personal rights and freedoms in order to give the government more power to contain the crisis. Right now, Errol, you're helping them.

Electric APUs have started gaining acceptance. These electric APUs use battery packs instead of the diesel engine on traditional APUs as a source of power. The APU's battery pack is charged when the truck is in motion. When the truck is idle, the stored energy in the battery pack is then used to power an air conditioner, heater, and other devices
Brett, whenever I read one of your tirades about current events I instantly think to myself. "This guy sounds just like Ted Kaczynski" aka The Unabomber.
Well, to be honest, I don't know what his views were. I never studied him. Can you give me an example of how my thinking aligns with his? Do you believe I'm equally as dangerous?
Folks, you can see that I'm now being equated with The Unabomber simply because I disagreed with the current narrative pushed by the mainstream media. If you listen to dictators throughout history, they always have the same policy - If you disagree with their agenda, you're a terrorist and you hate your country, so you're a threat that must be removed.
They've been preaching that to us through television for 18 months. It's working perfectly on Greg. He thinks I'm a terrorist because I'm a free-thinker who won't conform to the government's narrative. I never in the slightest way even thought about harming anyone over my beliefs. I certainly have no intentions or desire to hurt anyone. Yet Greg has me labelled as a terrorist, and even decided to call me out publicly on my own website for it. Yes, I helped Greg get his career started just like everyone else here, but suddenly I'm the Unabomber if I don't agree with the Government?
Sheep are so predictable.
In case anyone wonders how Greg equated me with being a terrorist when I did nothing but speak my mind in a peaceful and respectful manner, it's because he thinks what the government tells him to think:
Good sheep, Greg. Good sheep.
In fact, Israel is suffering with another COVID outbreak despite more than 9/10 of it's citizens being vaccinated.
It's just a placebo at this point.

https://www.timesofisrael.com/active-cases-pass-50000-just-2-months-after-they-stood-at-around-200/
The Health Ministry said the rate of serious cases was far higher among unvaccinated Israelis aged 60-plus, who constituted 151.5 people per 100,000 in serious condition on Monday; among the vaccinated the figure was 19.3, and among the partially vaccinated 40.9.
Respect the placebo effect.
As of Monday morning, 964172 people in Israel had received the booster, while out of Israel’s population of some 9.3 million, over 5.8 million had received at least one vaccine dose, and more than 5.4 million had gotten two.
Not quite 6/10 are fully vaccinated in Israel.
The most effective mRNA vaccines seem less effective against the delta variant, which mutated after they were developed, but still seem to dramatically reduce the seriousness of its infection, as Israel shows.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
I know I’m late to the party on this one, but I’m not taking the shot, they can imprison me for all I care

Rather than write more paragraphs in argument - I'd love to but it really goes off the original topic - I'll just say this (it's not a famous quote but it is good advice)ñ
