It all depends on what mount you have, ours are on the dash ( in the Freightliners) so it's easy to take the radio with you. When my truck is down I use a plug that goes into the accessories port so I don't have to keep screwing and un screwing it from the mount.

So I drive local or regional whatever you want to call it I drive about 2 hours and 30 minutes each way to the same place everyday we have assigned tractors but some days 3rd shift isn't back yet so i end up having to taking a different tractor. None of them are equipped with cb's which is quite annoying id like to know if theres any sort of cb's that i would be able to pack up at the end of my shift quickly. Thanks
