If you're a new CPAP user you're only required to show 30 days unless its changed in the last 3 years since I began treatment. I believe the 90 days comes in to play when you renew your medical card, which will be every year due to sleep apnea.
Just to be sure ask your recruiter where you plan to get your career underway.

Ask the recruiters about CPAP usage. It might take 30 days to get a DOT medcard. Though, you need to find out what the Companies/recruiters require.

Unfortunately it’s not just the recall, according to the local sleep center there’s also a shortage on parts and only one manufacturer currently producing any.

I’m looking to start trucking, I have my CLP and physical completed just waiting on my CPAP to come in before the doc will sign my medical card. Apparently there is a national CPAP shortage, I was told I’d be lucky to get one in less than two months. Is it true that most paid training programs requires proof of 90 days usage? This is already delaying my plans as it is.
