Anyone have any info regarding the dollar tree account at USA Truck? I've already spoke with a recruiter and have checked out other topics regarding this on here. just looking for any new info.
Hay, Austin!
Have you taken pause to read Papa Pig's diaries, journals, and links to his YouTube videos? He drives for Werner, but .. same game, eh?
Papa Pig's Adventures, et al . . .
Sure hope you keep a diary. Not sure of any one off hand (by name) that does USA/dollar...but if there ARE (and or were) they'll show up!
Got enough OTR experience to be comfy w/the backing, et al? I think its awesome, for an experienced driver, and a strong enough body!!
Best to ya;

OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
Don't do it. It's not worth the wear and tear on your body. It's not worth risking you good driving record. AN the lots are so tiny that some are street unloads. Just don't do them.
If it's some type of shuttle moving or going from DC to DC, I would maybe consider it. Other than that, such as delivery at the individual stores? As Dan67 noted, no way for me. I wouldn't do it now, and I wouldn't have done it 40 years ago. There's money to be made driving without all that extra work and risk IMO.
