I fixed em. They were missing the "https://" part at the beginning, that's all.
Here’s an honest question. Does anybody here personally know somebody that has died from covid? Not a friends friends friends coworker? I know zero. I have had family members pass since the start of covid and it wasn’t anything related to covid. Even though covid is supposed to be the deadliest thing we’ve ever encountered globally. I know maybe three people who have gotten it and it was a fever and a runny nose at worse. If the death rate was really as bad as they said it was. Either you would of been dead or would of known ten people who died from it.
Yes, I know 2. The wife of a high school friend died last Feb. from it. I met her when she and my friend were dating, many years ago. Fast forward to the last few years, I've kept up with her and my friend through FaceBook, where she was very active. Her immune system was depleted from battling cancer, so she stayed home and avoided all public contact, which was hard to do because her husband was a preacher. He retired a year ago specifically to avoid so much public contact. He caught it anyway in early December and of course she caught it later that month. Battled long and hard, died early Feb. after several weeks on a respirator.
The brother of another good friend died from Covid related side effects. He got sick and refused to go to the doctor for help, until his wife found him unresponsive in bed and called the ambulance. He tested positive for Covid when he was admitted, developed pneumonia, and died a few days later.
The same good friend whose brother died...his wife had a horrible time with it. She is the type of person you would call the picture of good health. She's around 60, very active, goes to the gym regularly, watches her diet closely, all the good stuff. She went downhill quickly, hospitalized, put on respirator, eventually recovered enough to go home after about 50 days in the hospital. She is the first person in our local area that has recovered from the Delta variant and gone home after having gone on a respirator.
Most people I know that have had Covid are like me and my wife, mild symptoms. We both said that in any other time, we would not have missed a day of work. I've certainly gone to work feeling worse more times than I can remember over the years.
I'm not an anti-vax person, but I refuse to be force-fed any vaccine. I've had Covid. I have antibodies, and there are now multiple studies that show the efficacy of natural antibodies to be at least equal, or much better than, any vaccine. My health issues are just that...MINE! They are between me and my doctor. My wife understands that if my current employed mandates that I get the vax, I'll be out of a job.
Before the last presidential election, the current president and his VP both said they wouldn't trust any vaccine developed under Trump. Now, they both want to force us to take the very jab they said they wouldn't trust. BS! I don't trust them!
Oh well, I'll climb down off my little soapbox now.

Yeah, I saw that too....Your links .. working!! LoL... Yet, my question is this; How do y'all think this is going to affect the 'trainer' shortage?
Most companies 'team' train. Even those that theoretically 'don't' ... still, kinda do.
Just wondering ~ IMHO, some guys/gals may opt NOT to become trainers.
Wile E.,
Dang crazy stuff. Condolences to you also, sir. Rick S. may have possibly died as a result OF the vax, (Rickipedia, RIP) our Technical Advisor on TT. His family thinks so, too. Shame.

Just on 'my' local news; maybe y'all heard, too ?!?

I have read this thread with a good deal of interest. I'm not a fan of either of the past three prez-guys, so my comments are NOT based on politics of who is in what was once The People's House...
I had the 'rona in Feb 2020, well before the vax was even a real thing. I lived. I think that there is much duplicity in the messages being sent. Like others, I've noticed the sudden embracing of a vaccine that was (prior to an innauguration) despised. A significant portion of our Nation was extremely vocal with respect to making choices for their own medical processes. Now that has been subsumed, imo, in an effort to ensure the legacy of a prez-guy who campaigned on making America healthy again.
I won't be taking the vax. My wife and I have already cancelled travel plans to a country that would have required us to prove that we have gotten a shot. In my old career, the presumption of guilt was on a list of things very taboo... I'd like to add 'presumption of contagion' to that list.
I shall remain "Vaxxed, By God (or whiche'er deity you ascribe to here)". I am working for a Native casino in AZ, and they have not adopted the over 100 rule yet. When that happens, I shall likely wander into another field. Ontario, Canada was reported on NPR recently to be contemplating eliminating the need for proof of vax within about 12 months. If THEY can do it, hopefully the need for international commerce will drive our government in a direction of sensibility rather than sensitivity.
YAMMD. Peace.

SUPER well said, good sir.
Thanks. Canada usually IS, a leg up. (Actually, often?!?)
Pretty sure the 'bad flu' Tom & I and the KIDS had in 03/2020 was in fact .. 'something' of the sort. End of September, He was SICK for 10 days; yet.. no Covid & no Vax. PapaPig had pneumonia, which is worse.
I just wish 'BRANDON' would get off his high horse.
You're right......rehashing isn't helping. Great post. We also, are VAXXED by OUR deity, which is the same LORD that you serve. Homeschooled the YOUNGEST; partially the crazy VACCINE MANDATES for KIDS. 5 years ago. We are fine, too.
Thanks, well said.

What was his official cause of death? I think it's a shame both sides are censoring one another over the issue. I've seen people get banned all over the place for speaking against the vaccine, and then I can hardly defend it here.
Anyway, everyone I know got the vaccine. No one has gotten covid-19 and no one has had any serious complications from the vaccine either. I think getting the covid-19 vaccine is probably a good idea. That said, I find the angle that vaccines might cause autoimmune diseases interesting, and worthy of looking into. No matter where we stand on the issue, we shouldn't be blinded by our own bias.
It’s a known fact that the number of COVID deaths has been greatly exaggerated. Hospitals have been coerced to report COVID as the cause of death even though underlying causes were to blame. Example, what if someone had a bad heart, caught the flu or got pneumonia and died of heart failure? Many illnesses can accelerate death from underlying conditions. My father smoked his entire adult life and died from a heart attack. What was the real cause of death? His doctor put this on his death certificate: “Nicotine addiction “ Damn right.
