Werner will allow you to get your medical card from and DOT approved doctor AFTER your initial company paid for physical at orientation. At least when I was with them (I left them a little over 4 years ago for personal reasons at home).

Reason being is that DOT has minimum standards and each company can add additional limits or standards. Certain meds are a hot topic. You will see their doctor at home before u even get to orientation so you will know right away. Not go and get sent home.
