Your beef was with the govt response to a pandemic that affected your business model & your bottom line. Your use of I can't breathe had nothing to do with police brutality. Your wallet was being oppressed.
Ok, now you've crossed a line, which we all knew was coming.
What you said about me is an obvious attack on my character. Why you would do that after making such an ass out of yourself here today already, I don't know. You're a special breed.
What you said about me is slander because it's 100% false.
Slander - "the utterance of false charges or misrepresentations which defame and damage another's reputation"
This pandemic did not damage my business at all. If it had, you would be the last person on Earth I would confide to. My statement, which I repeated below, had nothing to do with my business and everything to do with our society and our way of life in this country.
Friend, I gave you every opportunity to display your complete and utter ignorance in front of the entire world here today, and you certainly did not disappoint. I couldn't be happier with your performance. You spread a bunch of lies, condemned a bunch of innocent people, and ended it by slandering me. Well done. You may exit stage right.
That will be all for you.
The People United Against Tyranny
Please take a step back and understand the big picture. Then, let's continue this fight together.
Today's protests aren't just about racism. It's far more than that.
Today's protests are about the tyranny people have faced from governments all over the world, including ours.
This lockdown was unconstitutional and unjust. They stomped on the Constitution by taking away our rights and our freedoms. They've devastated our economy. They've censored our information. They've treated us like little children who are incapable of making decisions for ourselves or controlling our own fate.
Each and every one of us deserves the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness on our own terms. We must make our own choices.
Our Government must be reminded that they operate with our permission on our terms, not the other way around.
Do not let the government or the media divide us. This is not black vs white, man vs woman, gay vs straight, or Christian vs Muslim. This is THE PEOPLE unified as one against tyranny.
They told us "We're all in this together" - Damn right we are. We, THE PEOPLE, are all in this together. We must never again let our Government choke us out. Now we all know what it feels like when we can't breathe.
Never again will we allow our government to box us up like rats.
Let's keep it peaceful, but be loud and be bold. We must be heard. Let's stay united. Let's make sure this never happens again.

Electric APUs have started gaining acceptance. These electric APUs use battery packs instead of the diesel engine on traditional APUs as a source of power. The APU's battery pack is charged when the truck is in motion. When the truck is idle, the stored energy in the battery pack is then used to power an air conditioner, heater, and other devices

They already played some bits and pieces. One sound bite was Rittenhouse saying he supports blm. BLM responded by saying “we don’t eff with you”. Seems like a genuine kid to me.

Just because they tend to commit more crime in their neighborhood area doesn't mean crap. They have feet and cars, they can move around and if they are willing to randomly shoot someone on their block, they are just as open to shooting someone 100 miles away.I'm aware violent criminals are able to change their location. The discussion wasn't about violent criminals, the discussion was about whether it was a reasonable assumption that random Black people be profiled as a violent criminal.
If you had a room of 100 random people made up by their representative percentage of the population there would be 13 black people. Those 13 or a percentage of them, are responsible for over half of all murders and over half of all violent crimes.Yeah, if you took ten fingernails from 1 of those 13 Black people in the room, that would apparently approximately be the percentage of them responsible.
No, it is not a reasonable assumption to profile black men as violent criminals. However, it is prudent and I think wise to use precaution for a police officer to be on guard for the possibility that he COULD be a violent criminal when their reason for contact is for alleged or a possibility of a crime to have been or is taking place. The police also use the exact same precaution when dealing with a white guy or Hispanic guy or Asian guy or whomever if also contact is for the same reason. You are full of it if you claim otherwise.
Your percentages of one fingernails worth are woefully off. By the age 23 one out of three black males have spent time in jail or prison. But I'd imagine you will say they are innocent and they're in that situation because of systemic racism rather then because of their own actions right?
This is not a racism issue its just cold hard facts. I don't like the facts any more than you do but you cannot dispute them.

I thought that mainstream media was frowned upon here?

You're really grasping at straws here, no matter how silly. Called out for bogus statements, your only recourse is to sit quietly, waiting for something, anything to latch onto in a weak defense.
Once again, try harder.
There's nothing wrong with taking your news from several sources, and disseminating the truth through logic, reason, and intellect.
Are you saying there's something wrong with listening to the actual person involved? I would think anyone, no matter your political leaning, would want to hear what he has to say. But of course, there may be some truth in there that you don't want to hear.

My problem with that quote was & still is that you took the BLM slogan and coopted it to fit your narrative. Your beef was with the govt response to a pandemic that affected your business model & your bottom line. Your use of I can't breathe had nothing to do with police brutality. I thought about this for a moment last night and I had to laugh, not because it's funny, but because it's scary. Bklyn Dreams literally has no clue what is going on in the world around him and has no clue that he has no clue!
He had every detail wrong about Rittenhouse, but thought he had it all figured out to the point he could lecture us about what's wrong with our society and how we're all racist and biased. Well, everyone except his woke ass, of course. He believed everything he heard on tv and ran with it, questioning none of it. Utterly clueless that he had the facts all wrong, he had total confidence in his brilliance and moral superiority.
He did the same with me before that. He actually left this website in his normal state of moral outrage because he thought I was rallying the troops out of frustration because my business was struggling. Absolutely incredible. Not only did I never mention a word about my business, but my business actually grew through the pandemic, which is an incredible blessing. I'm very lucky. But I wasn't struggling, I was growing and thriving. Nothing I said had anything to do with my business, and yet he once again had complete confidence in his brilliance and moral superiority.
Folks, some people are just a train wreck. The best you can hope to do is stay out of the carnage they create everywhere they go.
How embarrassing for him.

I have a legitimate question for all who have opinions on the subject of media in our culture, which seems to be most people who have commented on this thread. And it has less to do with the available media, but rather what I have found to be a vacuum within media. And it has less to do with my opinions about the "mainstream media," CNN, MSNBC, etc., which many consider to have a liberal bias and the "countermedia," Fox News, etc. , which many consider to have a conservative bias.
I discovered this issue about available media in the process of searching for educational podcasts. It is so simple for anyone to start a podcast. And there are a lot of ones that I have found created by people who simply like to hear themselves talk. So, one would think that there are some intelligent people out there who have knowledge on a particular subject that they want to share with the world, without any bias or agenda. But, there really aren't any out there, specifically with regard to science, that don't fall into one of the polarized camps.
My specific question is it one of the following explanations?
1. There are no objective, non-biased people out there making podcasts about science.
2. Those in control of the "mainstream media" have such power that they can squelch even a simple science podcast by an objective, non-biased person, because it threatens the mainstream media agenda.
3. We are so polarized as a society, that there is no demand for an objective, non-biased science podcast. As such, those who tried to do an objective, non-biased science podcast stopped doing it because no one listened.
Or some other explanation.

You’re rarely going to find a podcast that doesn’t have a certain amount of personal opinion thrown in, it’s just not possible. One of my favorite critical thinkers is Dr Jordan Peterson. His debates and lectures are well thought out and he tends to stay within the realm of science and does an excellent job of referencing data to answer questions without getting emotion too involved in the conversation. He’s also the first to admit when he lets emotions get involved and is quick to correct himself and get back on track.
