Here's HIS drive home, LAST EVENING! Napoleon (Toledo area) Campbell's ... to Mt. Vernon, Ohio. No plows. Note, the placement of the 'Pedigreed Bulldog' on the hood, LoL!

~ Anne ~

My drive home with an empty trailer. About 30 miles from Twin Falls, 45 from the house:

One mile from the Idaho Flying J at exit 173 on I-84:

Stopped while 4 were in the median and then number 5 came towards me but then jerked it into the median and came close to hitting one of the four:

While watching what was going on ahead of me, I looked back and saw a semi speeding toward me...I was stopped and had my flashers going, when he swerved, lost control and jack knifed into the median. He came about one semi length from me and I thought he was going to roll. Fortunately, his trailer rocked back and forth but stayed upright. People don't pay attention, even with all kinds of lights going on emergency vehicles!

Yes Annie I could, but wouldn't even be driving thru that crap! lol Or if I had to, I'd be creepin' along, better than laying on my side hahaha.....That thought always comes into my head in bad weather, It CAN'T be fun to flip a rig so slow down lol....

Gotta call dispatch, when DM in, and check this delivery time/date lol Jan 9th? I ain't gunna sit on it, prolly a typo they make a bunch epsecially on pick up addresses, I've found....just 24 miles out, from shipper , takin my 30'

Shipper:

The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.

Dm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
