So you're actually hired on with the company as a driver? And you guys are "hauling autos" on a flatbed? I've seen a little bit of that kind of thing but not too often. Is it a local job or are you guys OTR?
OTR driving normally means you'll be hauling freight to various customers throughout your company's hauling region. It often entails being gone from home for two to three weeks at a time.
Sorry I said that kinda wrong. Yes we are doing auto haul but it's not on a flat bed it's on an auto haul trailer. Sorry for the confusion
Oh right on! That's cool! I've always heard that's a tricky job, especially in the wintertime. Loading and unloading can be a nightmare is what I've heard. Does it seem like a job you're going to want to stick with?
Well I am doing flatbed load to get Laredo to start my auto hall class we should be there by tomorrow and class starts MondayI will keep you posted
Well I survived my first run with auto hauling its not too bad loading and unloading vans.

I'm giving you all my update.
Last post I did I believe I told you I was debating on going into flatbed work. We'll 4 weeks ago I called a friend of 7 who already in that line of work. Asked if he wanted to team he said sure so I went 3 weeks ago to take the tie down class finished it and now I'm doing flatbed work.
We are going to do auto haul for our company. This is my 2nd flatbed load. It's definitely a challenge but I don't mind it.
Other then that things on my end aren't all that exciting. Hope you all are doing well.
