Thanks for the welcome , been lurking a long time but never posted.

I worked for FFE previously and actually have nothing bad at all to say about them....I may go back to FFE , but I've recently been talking with Hirschbach , They have a terminal in the DFW area , nice trucks with a TV , satellite and refrigerators. and a decent sign on bonus

What have you liked about Hirschbach? I’m interested in them as well!

Terminal:

A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.

I agree w many here that company sponsored is the way to go. Yes there is a year or so commitment, but its s good thing. They invest in training you. Most training companies have top notch equipment etc. I have read good things about Hirschbach. The negatives usually involve the lease purchase. I need not say anymore on leasing. Read thru the site for info on that.

Joel C..........I like their equipment and decent sign on bonus and they offer lease operator which I've done in the past and will do again. Had a friend that worked there as well and has no complaints. Also You can google " wild beard trucking on you tube.......he's not with them now but he has some videos of when he was with Hirschbach
