Covid Maybe??

Took the rest of the week off, hope I can feel better for next week.

This whole thing seems to have started where my dad works there are now 5 people there out.

No problem. I understand. Tensions are high everywhere at this point. A friend of mine is struggling right now with blood clots, so when you mentioned your symptoms, I wanted to make sure you at least knew about the possibility. I hope you're feeling a lot better very soon. Hopefully, you're as good as new next week.

Breathing is fine luckily, the coughing gets worse at night unfortunately but I feel better than a few days ago for the most part.

Unfortunately, I won't be getting paid for next week unless I burn vacation days which I will probably save for fun days.

Yep, Tom went through that, too. The coughing and congestion were helped immensely with TheraFlu, however. Honey Lemon kind. Try that?

His company 'made' him test when he came home 9/28, literally felt too ill to drive. It was just a flu and something that starts with an R. Antibiotics and a week at home. They actually loaded his vacay pay on his ComData card so he wouldn't do without. Pretty kind of 'em, in some ways! Payroll was a week a way; we'd have been fine, but some people DO live check to check.

Still have one week of vacay left here, too ... but doubt we will do anything fun, this time of year. Who knows; just roll it over, I guess.

Wouldn't have mattered anyway; the gov't ended 'Covid Pay' for workers on 9/31; yet the 'unemployed' still kept collecting. Boggles me.

Get well soon! Does your short term disability coverage, if you have it, cover quarantine due to positive test? Our management and HR team has made it clear to us that our particular coverage DOES cover it.
