Soooo 59yr old 2wk newbie. My trainer has a four day dedicated run that racks a bit over 2400ish miles, by the 3rd day I’m crushing my left stone and cannot figure out how to keep from sitting on it. I don’t mean to be funny and really need some input. I wear carhart pants and cotton boxer briefs. Figure I’m gonna take some ball bust’n on this but some actual advice would be nice too. Thanks

Dedicated Run:

A driver or carrier who transports cargo between regular, prescribed routes. Normally it means a driver will be dedicated to working for one particular customer like Walmart or Home Depot and they will only haul freight for that customer. You'll often hear drivers say something like, "I'm on the Walmart dedicated account."

Your discomfort is the first time I’ve heard of this issue, but I suspect it might be a common problem. I think most guys might hesitate to talk about it.

Have you considered castration? Otherwise, I would suggest discussing this with your doctor.

You can try some tighter-fitting boxer-briefs to keep all your bits from wandering off in directions you don't want them to go. Look on the tag and make sure one of the materials it is made with is spandex (5-12% spandex is good). I can't wear any denim to drive. No jeans or cargo shorts. Mesh shorts and sweatpants are what I wear normally bc everything gets kind of compressed down there otherwise. Good luck.

I also don't like wearing denim or tight materials. I am usually in athletic shorts, when something goes awry I can easily maneuver it back to where where I want it. In jeans and ****ies (no pun intended...honest!) It's not so easy. Until I read this though, I never really thought much about it, just the price for having junk I guess. If you are stuck on denim type pants you might try a silk thong. No, seriously, they must call it a banana hammock for a reason. Only you would know...until you did your laundry at the truckstop...lmao. form fitting undies perhaps?

I've never had this problem personally but I'd try some tighter fitting boxers, just not too tight you don't want to squish things.

I would say move to boxer briefs , get a nut bra, or a sack reduction surgery

What about a jock strap? Just thinking.

Pre treat with Gold Bond powder;

...and YESSIR on the cotton Boxer Briefs. I converted my 55 y/o about 13 years ago. He's cuter anyway, without! >> Tightie Whities ... not your friend! Yessir, y'all guys above. I've been tasked with keeping 'comfy' going on; men don't always meniton what behooves them, or pains them.

We females have issues; similar but not... cotton panties, not skimpies, and .. I wear female boxers, myself.

We bought this last Xmas....the air cooling and the 'lift' mid junk, seems to work for Tom .. and the lumbar probably works, too. YMMV. Not trying to get 'too personal' but... my guy has/had a 'right' lift issue. My personal physical therapist suggested this. The one from the MEDICAL STORE was $259 !! Same set up. I've posted this before..... as some know. Happy to be, a 34B! LoLoL....

Cushion for Office with a Window.

This could be an option. We looked at it for 'comfort,' because Rainy/Kearsey is all about this product, but didn't see it beneficial, for my Day Cab guy.

Purple Royal Seat Products; won't copy a 2nd Amazon link... just look it up! Amazon . . 'Purple Royal Seat Cushion, Relieving.'

Best onward;

A tractor which does not have a sleeper berth attached to it. Normally used for local routes where drivers go home every night.

Leather pants, commando!

Half the forum just spontaneously developed PTSD.

To heck with Gold Bond, Anne! Our leather-clad friend needs a barrel of Oil-Dri.
