Thanks for asking...

Not bad. Fortunately the major snow accumulations fell during the weekends. 8” then 14” two weeks later. I resigned from PFG Jan. 21st., starting a new job. Series of unkept promises led to my departure... loved the work though.

I’ll be writing a summary of the new gig shortly when I have time to write one. Wanted to get my “feet wet”, established before sharing with TT.

Here is a hint...

So how did you like your first winter with doubles? Still enjoying it?

Doubles:

Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.

In a way returning to my trucking roots that date back to 1977...

I drive; pickup and delivery... and I also load...there is no such thing as the perfect job, but for me this is very close... more to follow.

That's too bad about PFG.

Hopefully this new gig works out!

My grandfather would have liked what your doing he used to have to load his own 20 speed Mack dump trucks.

Thus far? “Yes”, it is really good. Sounds cliche’, but I’m having fun, challenged every day and home every day by 6pm... at the latest.
