Check out Nussbaum trucking out. Just talked to them and they gave me pre hire letter. On your list, i choose prime over TMC due to issues that I heard from their drivers.
Recommended companies and not recommending other companies and how many miles do you have at this point? What company do you drive for, Robert K.?
Pre-hire letters are acceptance letters from trucking companies to students, or even potential students, to verify placement. The trucking companies are saying in writing that the student, or potential student, appears to meet the company's minimum hiring requirements and is welcome to attend their orientation at the company’s expense once he or she graduates from truck driving school and has their CDL in hand.
We have an excellent article that will help you Understand The Pre-Hire Process.
The people that receive a pre-hire letter are people who meet the company's minimum hiring requirements, but it is not an employment contract. It is an invitation to orientation, and the orientation itself is a prerequisite to employment.
During the orientation you will get a physical, drug screen, and background check done. These and other qualifications must be met before someone in orientation is officially hired.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

If you are wanting to have your gi bill pay for school then the Troops into Transportation program might work for you. The closest location to you currently would be Ft Hood, Tx . Most if not all of the instructors are also vets and your fellow students will be vets as well.

Ahhh.. okay, Robert K. !
You didn't make that 'clear' to ANY of us, LoL! The WIOA grant IS a good thing in Ohio, will leave you little to nothing out of pocket for Nussbaum to pay back, anyway!
We've got a TON of great companies that hire 'freshies' out of CDL school, if you don't want to go the way we recommend....
Apply For Paid CDL Training......
Lima is central to many good companies; not sure what got you so 'hot' on Nussbaum, but ... okay! We know 'of' them... not too far from Tom's central office. They're in Hudson, IL ... right?
Since you ARE so close to Findlay ... have you looked into Garner? Better YET ...... so MANY LTL'S here in Ohio! Dayton Freight, YRC/Reddaway, Estes, ODFL (Dayton) and FX/LH everywhere!..
I 'do' see that Nussbaum has a 'finishing school' however. If that's what you're going for, then best of luck!!

Refers to carriers that make a lot of smaller pickups and deliveries for multiple customers as opposed to hauling one big load of freight for one customer. This type of hauling is normally done by companies with terminals scattered throughout the country where freight is sorted before being moved on to its destination.
LTL carriers include:
Formerly known as the Workforce Investment Act (WIA), the WIOA was established in 1998 to prepare youth, adults and dislocated workers for entry and reentry into the workforce. WIOA training funds are designed to serve laid-off individuals, older youth and adults who are in need of training to enter or reenter the labor market. A lot of truck drivers get funding for their CDL training through WIOA.
