So my advice was not bad at all, considering what the doctor said. I just had too many cuts, burns and all kinds of other wounds to be able to tell which burn is good, and which is a bad one...
Don’t drive motorcycles
Motorcycles are good, it is just hot exhausts don't mix well with shorts :-)
I touched my exhaust couple times, here is how it looks a few years later.
You suggested he not go to the Dr. I bet you never had a burn that looked like Jamie’s train wreck. Stop...

I did the exact same thing riding my bike around town when I lived in Az. Getting off my inner shin skin barely even touched the pipe as I was getting off, blink of an eye lol....
Kinda looked like Jamie's for quite awhile, kept at it here n there, mostly let the outside air do its thing, finally healed fine....Scarred skin is even lighter, less obviously noticeable than Andrey's pic.....
Lol I can take a high amount of pain !! After my knee surgery, with 70 staples, I was a week late (3rd) to go back to the hospital to have staples removed....Some the skin grew over the tops, the nurse was like "anytime it hurts, let me know, we'll take a break"......Only 1 hurt, so she stopped, the whole time, it felt like she still had the tweezer tool on it. 5 minutes, ok "doc, finish up" lol she was amazed and my threshold, it's just how it is...... Told her "Good thing I'm not planning to be a "leg model" 10 years later can still see staple scars (difference between GOOD insurance, and medicaid
Xrays, inside looks like a jumbled up box of hardware, 2, T-brackets and 9 crooked screws. It has set off metal detectors, show em the scars "ok pass" lol
G-Town, don't bet, you will loss. I posted a picture of an old burn, 3-4 years ago it looked exactly the same as Jamie's. Because they all look the same, same spot, same exhaust, it is a very common burn for those who ride a bike. And yes, there is no need to go to see a doctor with a burn that heals itself so well.
Regardless, I know it’s not infected and on its way of healing eventually which is good news to me!
Funny enough, it doesn’t really hurt. It’s just leaking fluid every now and then.
And it is good, this fluid (mostly made of your white blood cells) fights bacteria and keeps the wound clean. Speedy recovery! BTW, have you tried a battery tender? I keep my battery on it from November till March, works really well.

I actually put them on a battery tender while I was home but after I burnt my leg. I didn’t think about it until then, and after burning myself, I remembered about the battery tenders 20 feet away.
Where I live, you can basically ride up until January before winter really starts to show up.
Have a one considered amputation?

Wasn't even driving them, I was simply letting them warm up to ensure the battery didn’t t die
