Let's Hear It - What Do You Guys Think About The Canadian Truckers?

I hope yall don’t mind a man speaking his mind even if I got something else to say. Lord knows I’ve been tarred and feathered on facebook for it, hell even got Zucced for thirty days for peaceful speech. Now I admire the spirit they’ve got going on up there but I just don’t think it’s a hill worth dying on. My family doctor is my uncle an law now and he was talking about this with me last Saturday and he says where’s the protests when they mandate blood pressure? And I’m like hell why do we go for strong borders to protect our country from illegals but can’t do nothing to protect from bringing viruses in? He says this one sure ain’t the worst one it could be but we’ll all thank the lord we did so much to prepare fighting against it when the next one comes along that’ll really mess you up. I read some of them up there saying how they don't got an income for weeks cause they didn't get the vaccine and it just makes me sad cause it's not like they're being told to chop off a limb or anything.

Reading your comment, I assume you are a moderate in your political views, perhaps a pragmatist? I found your view reasonable and realistic. I tend to be in the moderate camp myself. I emphasize with the Canadian truckers but I wonder if all their effort will produce any results. It will be interesting to see where all this ends up.

I’m most cases I would agree with that. But this isn’t a normal situation. Not a protest over global warming but having sovereignty over your body. Get this vaccine in your arm or else! Not put your mask on and shush. Scary times we are living in. The amount of censorship happening from social media on this topic and anything related to the vaccine that is not pro-vaccine or pro mask is truly insane.

I fully support what our fellow Canadian drivers are doing. I hope they don’t back down at any point which it doesn’t look like they will. I’d love to join them. And the whole thing with gofundme has to be one of the craziest things to happen since this who plandemic started. Just straight up steal their donations.

This started out as truckers protesting vaccine mandates. The idea behind it was, they've been essential employees working through all of this and now, 2 years later, you want to impose the mandates. Then people started joining in to get rid of all the restrictions in place. The vaccine passports, the mask requirements and the quarantines.

Ottawa police are saying they're noting license plate numbers and identifying people participating and that there will be consequences for partaking in this. It's insanity.

Absolutely. The truckers are staging a much better protest than the Jan 6 storming of the capital in DC.

I fully support the effort, "We the People" need to be heard just as damn easy as the friggin BLM, and Antifah idiots n crazies were!!

Last night buddies wife had to get AAA to go get n tow her home in her '72 chevy truck. Once he got to the house, we were talking a bit. Guy said he was a mechanic many years, just bought new big tool box 6 years before. So his son was going to UTI for mechanics.

He said he told his son when he graduated he had a surprise for him.....So kid graduates, dad springs it on him his tools are ALL his ! Dad went into towing business previously......So they all got the vaccines, for what ever reasons, within a week, he said his son became suddenly sick, and they were going to doctors etc, the kid up and DIED, a week after graduating UTI Training. Said was Leukemia, just like that out of the blue....

Dad's thinking the vax did this and is actively persuing it for answers.....Kid went from perfectly healthy BEFORE the Vax, to death within such a short time? Who knows.

Stevo, what a sad, tragic story. My gosh what grief.

My grandson is17 years old and did his own research and decided on his own to NOT get the vax. He did get Covid several months ago but the symptoms were mild and he’s back to full strength. I’m so proud of him for making an adult, informed decision about his health and then sticking with it.
