I have my personal Verizon phone with 15 Gb and a company ATT tablet with unlimited data, both can be used as hot spots.
Pda.net, its an app that lets use utilize your unlimited phone data that you already paid for. Since Verizon are such (insert phalic explicative here) that only allow 15 gigs of hotspot unless you buy a hotspot device and plan, it works great. costs me 7 bucks a year for unlimited hotspot at 4 and 5g speeds. I can game, stream, upload videos, etc. its download speeds on large games can be slow but thats a packet address issue inherent to all phones. Other than that its great.
I have TMobile. I use my data. Are CFI we have diamond status at Loves and get free WiFi with that. I only use it on the rare occasions I don't have data. I can hotspot from my phone if I need to upgrade my GPSs or use my computer.
Metro pcs for years I now pay $80 from $60 a month so I get 25 gigs of hot spot. Which when home long periods I can burn thru, on the road, not so much. No biggee since it's only temporary.....I did try and bought a pocket wi-fi o at the store for $25 and own it, that plan was $35 a month, but was a POS for my at home use, so I cut it off after a month, it should work good in the Philippines, so, it's goin' with me there lol Some spots over there are so slow, you'd think you was on dial up!
