Two things on this.
1. I was surprised it wasn't a day cab.
2. He can always take his truck and go pull for Amazon after FedEx cans him.
A tractor which does not have a sleeper berth attached to it. Normally used for local routes where drivers go home every night.
I took a dirt road for about 25-30 miles a couple weeks ago.
I was in Colorado headed from Wolcott to Kremmling and from there continuing North but you can see there’s a little road connecting from Bond to Kremmling. It was the shortest way and I couldn’t find any info in the atlas so I decided I’d just decide which way to go when I got to it. It had signs for commercial vehicles and I threw my head out the window and asked a resident nearby if trucks go through here all the time and he confirmed so I took it. Didn’t know it was gonna be dirt until I was already a quarter mile down it. Passed a few other big rigs heading the opposite direction but I was a little worried at first there. Definitely a different experience for me lol
Some beautiful views on that route I took. Not surprising considering Trough Road is a “scenic byway.” I had a passenger on that trip who took some pics for me:

Yeah, I was trying to get an 'aerial view' of that area, off I40, to see more of that 'road' he was on, LoL..
Thank you!!!

A couple decades ago, I used to work at Stoops Freightliner across the Highway. I’m very familiar with that area.
