Hi, Robert 'dot!'
Welcome to Trucking Truth!!
We have a good handful of drivers here on TT, coming back into the industry after being out for a spell, same as you.
You do realize, you're going to have to somehow obtain that 'much coveted' 160 hour CDLA certificate, since the new FMCSA laws of 02/07/22, right?
Mister P looks like a good company, on safer web, really good rating! Are they willing to help you obtain (re obtain) your CDLA? In further browsing, I DO see they have a CDL school; Parnell. I don't know of anyone 'personally' that works(ed) for them, but in what I 'do' see, they look good!
They've got 30 more drivers than trucks; are they a team operation, perhaps? Just wondering.
You could always start, RIGHT here... and get caught up!
Wouldn't hurt you to go back through our HRTP, and freshen up, too! High Road CDL Training Program
Best wishes, sir!

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
The CSA is a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) initiative to improve large truck and bus safety and ultimately reduce crashes, injuries, and fatalities that are related to commercial motor vehicle
The FMCSA was established within the Department of Transportation on January 1, 2000. Their primary mission is to prevent commercial motor vehicle-related fatalities and injuries.
What Does The FMCSA Do?
A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.
State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
