The low pressure alarm should give an audible and visual warning at 60 psi or above. The order does not matter as long as you hit everything. When I did my test last week, I made a mistake. I said, "I missed a step so I must redo my test." I started the engine and had to wait for the air pressure to rebuild. Then I started over with my test. I got everything right. I lost no points. It did not matter I restarted doing them. It showed that I knew what I was doing.

Does it matter what order I do my brake inspection in? normally I start with Cutt-out gov 110-130psi then Cut-in pump every 15 sec before 85psi then turn off truck on ignition put in first gear push in brakes firmly down on pedal set watch in 60-sec leak check not more than 4psi in comb then with truck off in on pos Low Air warning 55-75psi then while air is low announce i will now to pop out test keep pumping till pop out 20-45psi then safe start truck let air charge then tractor trailer and service last all brakes pulled in nuetral shut off feet off brakes announce this concludes my brake test. My DMV is next week so I'd appreciate any honest advise. test is ca dmv do i have to stop and rechrge brakes after each test? i am the only person in my class including the teacher who is english speaking...got a deal on price... but this is bothering me plz help
