I'm assuming he was being sarcastic in the right wing comment.
I think it's pretty obvious at this point that covid didn't get the job done on the Ole great reset, the coup that they did for the election had no exit strategy and they're stuck trying to change the money standard and world into their star trek kinda utopia any way they can. In order to get the world onto the new system, they have to destroy the old system.
It's remotely possible but very doubtful that that the insane progressives, global elites and environazis are collectively so inept that they just keep doing the worst possible thing at the worst time.
Planned food shortages, hyper inflation, attempting to destroy the supply chain, attacking the oil and gas industries, every turn they continue to exacerbate the issues. It's planned and sabotage plain and simple.
I’m just wondering where are all the people so happy for “Democratic Socialism?” 🤔
Read Wal-Mart has increased prices 25% go figure everyone else is price gouging,,, corruption & greed at work. So far the 1 by me, has shelves full mostly. Hell they were lining pallets up down the center aisles! That's usually done after closing up for the night....Only went there for some things not much but yep was higher $$ for what few things I got....To stock up on few things I can't buy/find in Asia, like Aleves, or the equate version lol yep last time I went and bought 10 bottles of em (400 pills) to take with me. Hi Davy, yes, that was sarcasm, “he said sarcastically “
But seriously, in every economic situation we go through, there are people and/or corporations making the big money. Putting their hands in our pockets and extracting the money from our wallets.
Truck driving is still an honest way to make a living and I appreciate all my friends here at TT.
I haul fuel in eastern NC. Its gotten ridiculous trying to find suppliers with fuel allocation available...especially diesel. It's common to see trucks hopping from loading terminal to terminal searching for fuel allocation. One of our drivers spent 4 hours terminal hopping trying to get a load of diesel a few days ago. Yesterday my slip seater couldn't find any and was about to turn a diesel load in unfinished. Then dispatch called him that a driver found some diesel, hurry over before it's gone. When I came in last night for my shift my first load was diesel. Dispatch told me we have one supplier at one loading rack left who still has diesel allocation. She sent me and another truck over to load full loads, and split among our stores who's diesel tanks are empty.
My first delivery the employee came over when I pulled in. "Please tell me you have diesel" he said. He was very happy that I had 5k gallons for him.
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
This had some interesting explanations for why it's happening worse in that region:

If the cat food is made by Nestle Purina, they have been having problems at their plant in Hartwell GA for the last 2 years. They are going through year 4 of a 2 year construction plan to update and increase their production of wet cat food from 1 product line to 5. My company has a contract to haul 6 loads per day down to a packaging plant in Atlanta GA. Some days we can only get 1 load out. Sofar the most we have gotten out was 4 loads per day. They recently had a visit from a VP and he was quoted as saying. "worst startup in company history". I would get that furbaby on some dry food asap.
I got a new cat a couple months ago .. she is a snob. Big surprise...her canned food is $50 for a 24 pack!!!
It's the only stuff she will eat. I think it's time to reassess our politicians

The 2nd reason they gave was the same reason our dispatch manager gave when one of our drivers questioned him on why our suppliers are running out. He explained that with prices so volatile the fuel buyers are afraid to make more than minimal purchases. They are afraid to get stuck with a million gallons of fuel that's now 50¢ or a $1 more than current prices.
But consequently on our end, stores are running out of fuel because suppliers don't have any. Some branded stores (ExxonMobil, Marathon, Sunoco, Shell....etc..etc) are begging for anything we can find them. Even if it's unbranded or the wrong brand, they just want fuel so they can stay open.
A thread on the exact same subject was deleted from a different trucking forum for, "being too political".
As long as the people responsible for the problem:
A) Deny they're causing the problem.
B) Choose to focus on imaginary problems instead of real ones.
C) Act surprised when the crises they have caused negatively affect the population.
D) All of the above.
This won't be getting better any time soon.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.
