You mean a company that has a whole fleet of electric trucks because if you are there is no such thing

I agree with Mike.

There are no electric class 8 trucks out here. There is a vast chasm between what is on the internet and what is practical reality.

The closest thing to this right now would be the railroads.

FAB Express is hiring in that area, but they are all diesel, Mack Pinnacles. Some auto's, some manuals. Might still be a few Int'l's in their fleet in that area; not sure.

What is it that has you interested in electric?

At our 3 DCs we have 1 electric shag truck each. Shag drivers love em due to being quiet and no vibration. If I remember correctly from our meeting they're running them for about 16 hours then charging for 8 hours. We've also been chosen to test out an electric truck from International at the end of next year. Looking at internationals website all I currently see is box trucks that only have a range of 135 miles. I'm sure it ends up being less in the winter time. Every 2 hours you'd need to pull off the interstate and charge up with that configuration.

Interstate:

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Electric trucks are cleaner, don't pollute the air with toxic diesel fumes.

And there it is. Knew that was coming. I’ll get the popcorn. And Anne I’ll never underestimate your ability to plug in FAB express lol. You are indeed their biggest fan.
