Bi-annual Stress Test

I just learned that because I have a stent I need to take a bi-annual stress test to keep my med card, class A non-excepted interstate. This is a $6000 test and even if insurance would cover it I’d still have to pay the $2500-$3000 deductible.

Does anyone out here have experience with this? Are there any other options to cover the cost of this test rather than having to go into my pocket every other year for $2500-$6000 ?

Thanks in advance for any advice/replies.

Interstate:

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).

That's a bite out of the wallet! I had a transplant and so far only had to do the stress test once. I am only eligible for a one year physical certification each time due to the anti-rejection prescription that I'll be required to take for the remainder of my time here.

Howdy, fellow Buckeye!

Have you checked into TruckersFund.org? Trucker's Fund General Assistance

Here's the 'resources' link, too: Trucker's Fund Resources Link.

Just a few testimonials on a trusted periodical: Overdriveonline . . St. Christopher's Fund

I've referred a few trucking pals of Tom & I , and they've gotten assistance. It may be a 'one time' deal, but then again, with one lady, they referred her to a place with ONGOING assistance, after helping with her first bill.

Worth a shot; wish you the best. Let us know, please!

Let us know how the CDL training IS going, in that thread, too!
