How often is the information on the company sponsored training pages updated? I have seen on one of Kearsey's videos that the training pay for Prime may have changed. So I was wondering how up to date is the information on this site? I look forward to any replies.
Thanks for such a great resource! Mike
Mike;
Howdy!
I'll leave this to the pro's and vets of the site, but as of late (since 02/07/2022) things KEEP changing. I know the powers that be sure TRY to update; kinda like a puppy chasing its tail. Hiring areas vary also, company to company. Prime's had a few changes in that realm, as well.
Your best bet is to ALWAYS verify with each company; as they change up, internally . . . and don't always advise the creator of this forum!
Kearsey is usually spot on when it comes to Prime; she's actually a trainer and advisor, at Sprimo . . . now! Her videos are pretty current, per usual.
Best to ya; hope that 'helps!'

ps: Yeah, it IS a great place . . . !
A Company-Sponsored Training Program is a school that is owned and operated by a trucking company.
The schooling often requires little or no money up front. Instead of paying up-front tuition you will sign an agreement to work for the company for a specified amount of time after graduation, usually around a year, at a slightly lower rate of pay in order to pay for the training.
If you choose to quit working for the company before your year is up, they will normally require you to pay back a prorated amount of money for the schooling. The amount you pay back will be comparable to what you would have paid if you went to an independently owned school.
Company-sponsored training can be an excellent way to get your career underway if you can't afford the tuition up front for private schooling.
