Looked at Melton, got a "pre acceptance" and email. Then that following Monday a "we selected other applicants". I'm guessing that was probably my lack of any work history as I have nothing on my MVR or criminal history at all, ever. I tried contacting the recruiter since to ask why but always get voicemail. I can always revisit them once I've got work history and especially driving experience in a year or so when my wife and I are looking to move.
Have you looked at Melton? (Flatbed; quite popular with some peeps on here; do a search.) Keen ? Keim ? How about Hogan ? There are SO MANY great places to start. A few of our TT peeps are with May; Pianoman did some hauling for System Transport, too! Heck, have you read Old School's posts? He's even got a Word Press Blogspot, in his profile.
I JUST thought of another one! Cardinal Logistics / Redbird. They have vans (reefers too?) and CERTAINLY tanks, as you move up the ladder! A great pal of mine just joined their ranks!
Hang in, and hang on. PJ knows the HECK about tank hauling. It's not a starting gate, as we ALL have said. Can't explain/emphasize, enough.
Wish you luck, good sir. Kick it with the skateboarders, you may NEVER wanna TANKl~!!
Best always;
~ Anne & Tom ~
ps: Hope the new family is doing AWESOME!
Any updates, Travis? If you posted in one of the other threads; I've missed it, sorry!
Hope all is well, tho~
