I know the pain all to well. My company sent out notice on 13 June that we where shutting down effective 30 June but it ended up being done quicker then that. The original owner passed away 18 months ago, and his son and daughter-inlaw took over. They ran the company into the ground and with the prices of trailers and trucks so high they decided to cash it in and retire. Over 100 people out of a job. No WARN Act notice or anything.
So with a new company that took over some of the contracts and drivers from my old company and has been a smooth transition. Still a local job, home daily. But having to use a sleeper truck until they get us new daycabs.
WOW!
I'm sure I could dig thru the threads...do we 'know' your last company, Dan67? I know... we daycabbers HATE being laden like that!!
Unless you move into a "PJ" rig, LoL !!
So sorry to hear, glad you bounced BACK, though!
