One Year Of Driving As Of Today

I have now driven for Schneider 8 months and JS Helwig 4 months. According to my calculations, 8 + 4 = 12, or in other more poetic words, one year. It took me almost 5 years to get to the one year point, but I have made it and I didn’t wreck anything or kill anyone.

What is the most important thing for me today is to express my gratitude to all the fine professionals here on Trucking Truth. I’m not going to mention any names because I know I would leave someone out. ( Except Anne, who everyone loves for her devotion and valuable contributions. ) That being said, I’ve been helped and educated by all the moderators and the founding father. Where would I be without everything I’ve learned here? It scares me to even think about driving without this invaluable resource.

At times I know I aggravated people by making stupid comments. As a result, I received my fair share of tough love. Thank you, people for your patience, kindness and knowledge. It’s all been beneficial and enjoyable. Hopefully, on July 12, 2023, I can post about my two year anniversary.

Congratulations BK. That’s a big milestone as most people don’t last the 12 months.

Congrats!

Oh wait, as I recall, you had an extended breakdown with Schneider, you need to put in more time of actual driving, don't you? :)

My breakdown with Schneider was mental. That’s how bad it was. Lol

Congratulations, Bruce! Your road to one year certainly wasn't an easy one. Some of us reach that milestone as though our cruise control is set and we are rolling down a flat, open road. In comparison, you were pulling a 45,000lb load through the mountains over patches of snow and ice. Well done, sir!

Congrats! Way to go, Driver! Ignoring a few online reviews I hear Helwig is a good company. Strong company. Glad to see you are doing well!
