So while I’m waiting for my fuel pump to be replaced, I’ll be shuttling trucks back to Wisconsin from Buffalo. One Wolding, one Britton Transport. I’ve never driven a Volvo, this should be interesting.
It’s going to suck not having food or coffee though. Lol

I'd be dragging my little Dometic cooler, filled with tuna snack packs and bottled water, and of course those cute 12 packs of Folger's (or Maxwell House) instant singles; and shake for iced coffee!
Then again, I love my Pure Leaf Unsweet Tea, too!!
Make do; hope it works out for you. Sometimes those 'off the wall' weeks are actually kinda fun! Was for me, running w/Tom back in the day. Always something new~!

ps: Advise how it goes/is going/went, haha!
Interestingly enough, I’m currently waiting on a tow for my fuel pump.
Grumpy, just how big is that fuel pump? Lol
Lol
Anne I can’t take a cooler because I’m flying back to Buffalo and grabbing the second truck.

This is way too strange to be true, but it is true. I just broke down again with the SAME symptoms as I had when I first started this thread. The bizarre thing is that it happened at the EXACT location of the first breakdown, at the SAME time of night and I’m parked at the SAME rest area waiting for a tow truck again.
What are the odds of this happening TWICE in a short time period? This is just too weird.
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

Anne you are right about the Bermuda Triangle. I think that while they fix my truck AGAIN, I should go to Bermuda to investigate.

Might as well; you'll now have the time on your hands once again!!
What about the ride along plans, tho ?!?

ps: Okay, I think your truck hit a 'time warp' .. or at least your fuel pump did!
"Some hypothesize that a parallel universe exists in the Bermuda Triangle region, causing a time/space warp that sucks the objects around it into a parallel universe. [24] Others attribute the events to UFOs.[25][26] Charles Berlitz, author of various books on anomalous phenomena, lists several theories attributing the losses in the Triangle to anomalous or unexplained forces.[12]" [Wikipedia.]
So my truck is repaired and I’m on the plane back to Buffalo after dropping off the second abandoned truck.
First time in a Volvo and first time on paper logs and no Qualcomm.

Yeah, I got to work two days and now I’m down until at least Tuesday, and that’s probably optimistic.
The tow bill for 27 miles was $1400!
I’m glad I’m a company driver. Lol
