After that rant you got me feeling scared and wanting to go back to team driving again!
Trust me people outside looking in have no clue about trucking. Almost everyone feels that way from time to time. That's normal.
When I first started driving I was fine on the open road but the first time I had to do something that challenged my skill at driving my hands would sweat and my feet and my mouth would go dry. Took about 6 months to get the hang of it a lone. To make matters worse I was driving a $250,000 dollar truck. Stretched out freight condo XL-Extended hood with 300 inches of wheel base cause I was driving for an O/O that could no longer drive. One screwup and it would cost thousands to fix.
Finally one day I had just came through rush hour traffic on a Friday on Easter weekend through Los Angeles and my feet and hand were dry and I could swallow cause I did not have dry mouth. It was that point I knew I would be ok and could handle the worst that trucking could throw at me.
