I start cdl training tomorrow. Kinda nervous but I know I can do it. So excited to see the opportunities that trucking will provide. After I complete training I will be driving for Hogan.

Welcome to Trucking Truth!

You can post here or in the General forum. Questions by women get answered quicker over in the General one. There's only a couple of us women and I come in to the Ladies group about once or twice a week.

Anne will come along tomorrow, actually later today, and give you different links to go through and read.

I see Hogan back east or in the south mainly. I don't know much about them but somebody might.

Good luck!

Laura

TWIC:

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

WELCOME, & congrats!!

Hogan is a great company, I've heard. Are they sponsoring your training via a partner facility??

It's never too late to prepare, here!

Keep us in the loop, and hope to see ya back soon!

Best to ya!!
