That's awesome news! Welcome back man!

Good news is that I received my medical release to return to work without restrictions today.

Submitted my application to Prime to rehire. Started the pre-screening activity already targeting to attend Orientation in Springfield starting Nov 28th.

BMI:

Body mass index (BMI)

BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:

  • Underestimate body fat for older adults or other people with low muscle mass
  • Overestimate body fat for people who are very muscular and physically fit

It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.

Prayers for a fast recovery!!

Thanks for the offer Chief Brody. I’ll be in Springfield on Thursday to clean out the truck to turn it in.

My FM told me that he can get someone from Security to help me if I need it.

I’m doing a second MRI today of elbow area this time instead of shoulder Area.

Fm:

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

I’m fully approved now to attend Prime Orientation on December 5th in Springfield as an “A Seat”.

“A Seat” means I’m eligible to upgrade into my own truck following passing Orientation. Orientation will include a DOT medical exam and a driving skills assessment.

The driving skills assessment will be interesting after not being in a truck since July 16th. I’ve been doing a lot of mental visualization of my driving and backing experiences. Reading my diaries and journal is helping.

DOT:

Department Of Transportation

A department of the federal executive branch responsible for the national highways and for railroad and airline safety. It also manages Amtrak, the national railroad system, and the Coast Guard.

State and Federal DOT Officers are responsible for commercial vehicle enforcement. "The truck police" you could call them.
