Not a whole lot to be said so far. There just trying to eliminate layovers and more efficient deliveries. Starting sept 18th we will have to rebid new runs and and will all be meet and turn runs so will be home everyday. That’s about the only thing I know right now. I’m sure more will come in time. Thanks I haven’t been on in while just been working and doing life lol
I applied straight out of private truck driving school. Did a interview and drive test. Took about 2 months then was hired on. Trained me for about 3 weeks 4 top then sent me on my way. It’s been treating me good. We r merging right now so think we r gonna be hiring soon.
My predicament is that I can't be gone from my house longer than 2-3 weeks, so I'd like to have a trainer that works in Las Vegas so I can take my off time at my house. If my trainer lives in Salt Lake City, for example, I'd have to take my time off there and I don't know how I could get to Las Vegas then back to Salt Lake City in time...

Refers to carriers that make a lot of smaller pickups and deliveries for multiple customers as opposed to hauling one big load of freight for one customer. This type of hauling is normally done by companies with terminals scattered throughout the country where freight is sorted before being moved on to its destination.
