A little tight, but manageable.

That was a view while backed into the fock, for context.

ROFLMAO! I really thought you were pulling the Portmanteau word card .... ya know, like 'FLIPPIN' DOCK!' That WAS a good one, man!

You did WELL, good sir. I've never been to HP, but the burroughs at 16 in a Mazda RX7 5(or 6?) speed...was fun enough! I'm an 'island' girl, the LONG Island, that is....Nassau County. The city is fun, in it's time & place, and upstate NY is....GORGEOUS!!

Good job, man. Good job.

~ Anne ~

ps: Yep, I'd do that run, were I you, 1x/month for that added bonus, since you now can! :)

In the future, if at all possible, I will try planning driving into the City at any time not rush hour. That was interesting last night. I was going across GWB around 18:00. Definitely not a drive for someone who is nervous or insecure about driving.

Nope, finger slip went unnoticed before submitting. Nothing witty.

Thank you, madam.

Onto the next load. Taking a load of cardboard back to the company yard in Oberlin. After this, they are supposed to have me running around doing local runs, the furthest being like Louisville or Harrisburg.

BMI:

Body mass index (BMI)

BMI is a formula that uses weight and height to estimate body fat. For most people, BMI provides a reasonable estimate of body fat. The BMI's biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may:

  • Underestimate body fat for older adults or other people with low muscle mass
  • Overestimate body fat for people who are very muscular and physically fit

It's quite common, especially for men, to fall into the "overweight" category if you happen to be stronger than average. If you're pretty strong but in good shape then pay no attention.

You're right, Bruckner BLVD. I'm sorry, it's a been a while since I've been there and it was an oversight on my part.

Glad you got through it unscathed.

No worries at all. It was a tight squeeze in spots, but nothing I was out of my element in being able to handle.

I keep thinking back to Turtle and his 5-stop NYC flatbed load. I had a vacation, compared to that.

Going back to Hunts Point early tomorrow morning. I have planned my trip so that I will be entering the city well past any traffic. If on-site parking were not available, I might refuse to go there. Delivering to this location is quite a bit easier than when I had a load going to Maspeth in Queens. That was my most challenging driving experience, to date.
