That’s what I have.

Tell him to say “hello Omnitracs”. If it is enabled she will say “state a command”.

No idea about switching voices.

Curious, y'all ~

Tom has the Qualcomm brand ELD, and it only reads him his mail, in a female voice. If he has that option like Omnitracs, where would it be accessible from?

Also, does the Omni speak to you in a male or female voice, like Alexa and Siri and Garmin?

I like being nosy, I know. Sorry!

Qualcomm:

Omnitracs (a.k.a. Qualcomm) is a satellite-based messaging system with built-in GPS capabilities built by Qualcomm. It has a small computer screen and keyboard and is tied into the truck’s computer. It allows trucking companies to track where the driver is at, monitor the truck, and send and receive messages with the driver – similar to email.

There will be a settings screen in there, under system settings where you can change the voice, and the language (print or spoken forms).

Thanks, y'all !

I sense some 'deviousness' in the morning hours, ... hehehe!

This 'could' be fun, if I dupe him!

Manly trucker voice with notes of cigarette coughs and beer belly laughs on its way.
