I'd probably screenshot it too just in case I accidentally tossed whatever I wrote it on or spilled something on the paper.
When a driver uses his CAT scale app on the phone and then has an unexpected/unscheduled re-power or relay, how should this be handled? I’ve had several of these and always provide the other driver with all the scale information I have. And I suggest that if they don’t feel comfortable with the numbers, to go scale it again. This is the problem with using the phone app as opposed to the printed ticket.
And I might add that I write down all the info and numbers that CAT emails me, just in case.
CAT Scale:
A network of over 1,500 certified truck scales across the U.S. and Canada found primarily at truck stops. CAT scales are by far the most trustworthy scales out there.
In fact, CAT Scale offers an unconditional Guarantee:
“If you get an overweight fine from the state after our scale showed your legal, we will immediately check our scale. If our scale is wrong, we will reimburse you for the fine. If our scale is correct, a representative of CAT Scale Company will appear in court with the driver as a witness”
