You might want to check out Women in Trucking and see what they have. Personally, I believe the only leg up ANY student needs, male or female, is a great attitude.
I don't know of any particular scholarship but personally believe company sponsored is best. Have you talked to the company you want? Most local companies are going to want a year or experience due to high insurance costs for rookies.

Hi all. I’m in Northeast Ohio, USA. Looking to get my CDL and wondering if anyone knows about any type of program or offer out there to help me get a leg up in such a historically male dominated field. I don’t want to do a company-paid training, already got my eyes on a specific job— just need the CDL.
