Jasmine, great news! I spent some time chatting with a maverick driver at an independent truckstop in the Indy area during one of the ice events that shut 65 down. He loved the outfit, had been flat bedding with them for a few years, and was very up on them.
Good equipment. Lots of loads. Decent immediate supervision. Prompt repairs. Those were his impressions.
Enjoy the training!
Maverick is top notch, when it comes to training people to become truck drivers. Lots of people start with Maverick and never go anywhere else. I encourage you to start a training diary on this forum.
Congrats to you and I wish you the best.

Hello everybody!!!! My name is Jasmine!!! I just got my class A CDL Oct 13th 2022. I just wanted to update my process with maverick transportation in case anyone was looking into going with them. Some of the topics on maverick are from years ago. So basically the application process...yes you may have heard is strenuous! It is now the 3rd week of my application process and I finally got a call back saying I'm approved to go to headquarters! As of now I'm waiting on the person who handles the bus tickets to call me for my departure date and time. I still have to get through a hair and urine drug test. Another DOT physical even though mines is up to date until end of 2023. (I guess I have to go through Mavericks medical team for that), also have to do an agility test annnnnnd pass a tarp class! I'm honestly very excited! If I can be of help to anyone feel free to comment below. I also will be making a Tik Tok of my application and orientation journey. For now I just want to focus on getting the job. Thanks everyone! I'll be back here for an update!
